Many people think that exercise is good for only one thing: being physically fit. While exercise does accomplish this, there are many other benefits as well. For one, regularly exercising achieves us a better mental state. We feel better about ourselves for staying active, and are also generally happier because we have more energy! Going along with this is our emotional side. We're more lively, energetic and excited to be alive because of habitual fitness!
But the most important benefit is this: independence. If we spend time in the gym making ourselves more fit, we're generally able to take care of ourselves for longer! If you're confident in yourself and your abilities, you will be more apt to be capable of living without much assistance!
Avamere Court at Keizer wants to help you with this, and they'll do so in two different ways:
- For our short-term residents, we offer intense rehab therapy to heal and restore their muscle function and strength.
- Those that will be staying with us a little longer are offered personally crafted senior exercise programs to help enhance everyday living.
