Avamere Court at Keizer - Senior Center Activities

The most important thing that a senior can have as he or she ages is community. Time to laugh and dance and sing and work together on projects is necessary for anyone – but especially those of us who are getting older. Of course, everyone needs some solitary time, but having good friends around you to cheer you up and keep you going is essential.

Avamere Court at Keizer takes this knowledge seriously and we do our best to introduce our residents to one another and get everyone together for a fun game of trivia or bingo! It doesn't stop there however, we also offer loads of handicrafts: painting, drawing, sketching, wire sculpture, woodwork and more. We provide the opportunity to satisfy your spiritual side through religious programs, meditation, chapel visits, group prayer and more. We have fun group games such as bingo, trivia and word games; and if you just want to relax, there's always time for a good matinee!

One fun thing that we love to have is the opportunity for you to teach your personal skills to others! Whether it's crochet, knitting, woodwork or sketching, our residents and the outside community absolutely love to learn new things, and we're sure that you'd make an awesome teacher!
